Abstract:
Abstract The term ‘general anti-inflation policies’ I take to mean macroeconomic measures in the monetary, fiscal and exchange-rate sphere, supplemented sometimes by direct restraints on prices and incomes. The period under consideration is approximately the last twenty years (1955 – 75) and the countries mainly those of the OECD area.
