A chapter in The Business Cycle in the Post-War World, 1955, pp 100-121 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The study of business cycles in the economy of post-war France might proceed from two angles: an attempt might be made to verify business cycle theories by bringing to light those post-war fluctuations which agree with the theories, or else one might describe economic movements such as they have actually been observed in all their complexity and explain them partially, whenever this proves possible, by elements of different theories.
