Abstract:
Abstract When I was invited to write this paper I was told that the case of Swedish agricultural policy seemed to be one of the few interesting ones. By the expression ‘interesting’ may, as I see it, be understood a radical and/or successful policy, which can serve as a model for other countries. If we look merely on the strictly agricultural part of Swedish economic and social policy, I am afraid I have to be disappointing.
