Chapter 5 in Labour Relations and Economic Performance, 1990, pp 114-136 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract During the last ten years, a lively discussion has developed on the determinants of economic slowdowns and the reasons for increasing cross-national variation in economic performance. According to most discussants, such institutions as interest groups and governments make a difference. But what kind of difference? This question is a source of great disagreement.
