Chapter Chapter 16 in Problems in Economic Development, 1965, pp 311-319 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This discussion is oriented toward an economy in which economic growth is accelerating significantly. In particular, there is a rapid growth of manufacturing, power, transportation and other modern industries. The agricultural sector, still dominant, is beginning to shrink in relative terms. The economy is creeping over the threshold of economic development.
