Abstract: Abstract In formalized programming a distinction is made when pro-gramme is being set up between the arbitrary and automatic parts. The arbitrary part is localized at the beginning of the process of resolution and consists of the choice of a model and the discussion of assumptions. The automatic part comprises the rest of the process, i.e. data processing with a view to calculating the unknowns.
