Chapter Chapter 25 in The Distribution of National Income, 1968, pp 681-697 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In this paper I propose to consider the attempts by the British government to formulate and apply an ‘Incomes Policy’ in the sense in which that phrase is currently used. First, however, I must relate ‘Incomes Policy’ in this especial sense to the more traditional uses of it and kindred phrases relating to the distribution of the national income.
