Chapter 2 in Unemployment in Western Countries, 1980, pp 36-57 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The problems of employment form one of the key problems of economic policy both at the national and international levels. The worsening of the employment situation in western countries late in the 1960s, and increasingly from the beginning of the 1970s, with mounting unemployment, made the problems extremely urgent.
