Material Relations and Transport Policy in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
Karel Vitek
Chapter 26 in The Economics of Long-Distance Transportation, 1983, pp 353-360 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Planned and effective supply is an essential component in the development of planned economies. It is a subject of great importance and the most recent congresses of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia as well as the plenary sessions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia have stated the need for improvement in this area. Similar situations exist in other centrally planned states, and the Xth International Symposium of Material and Technical Supply is just one example of the way in which COMECON countries are cooperating in finding solutions to technical problems of improving supply.
