Chapter 17 in East-West Economic Relations in the Changing Global Environment, 1986, pp 312-320 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Since 1980 problems of East-West financial relations have been discussed in the West mainly from the point of view of the magnitude of indebtedness of East European countries in developed market-economy countries. Attention is concentrated especially on the debt export and debt servicing ratio of particular East European countries and the group as a whole, their credit-worthiness and ability to meet. financial obligations which they have undertaken.
