Lifetime Patterns of Labour Force Participation

Abstract:
Abstract In most industrialised countries the male labour force does not grow, or grows at a much smaller rate than the female labour force. This is the case in Sweden. The increase in female labour force participation is in the interest of women and most likely it also means a more efficient use of human resources over the long run.
