Chapter 7 in Agricultural Policy in Developing Countries, 1974, pp 177-204 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Within the overall pattern of agricultural development, each developing country will have somewhat different types of development in capital accumulation and technological progress in relation to its heritage of resource conditions, level of know-how, government policy and subsequent population growth. Thus, though there is a general development pattern for all countries, we must seek to identify the components of the specific development for each country.
