A Conclusion to Cross-National Growth Research: A Foreword ‘To the Countries Themselves’
Lant Pritchett
Chapter 6 in Explaining Growth, 2003, pp 213-243 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I am happy to write the conclusion to this volume because the approach to growth research that is reflected in this volume is promising. By taking seriously the experiences of regions, and next of individual countries, and by taking an integrated approach of macroeconomic, microeconomics, markets and political economy jointly this research can hope to capture the richness and texture of actual country experiences.
