Abstract: Abstract Within entrepreneurial ecosystems technology based nascent entrepreneurship are becoming influential actors contributing to economic wealth creation and technology and scientific advancement. This chapter briefly sets the context, introduces and provides a commentary on key issues and implications based on chapter contributions. The chapter contributions primarily focus on two themes with respect to technology based nascent entrepreneurship—environmental conditions and aspects of technology based entrepreneurship within the context of academia.
