How Long Does the Dead Hand Live?

Doug White

Chapter Chapter Six in The Nonprofit Challenge, 2010, pp 117-133 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The idea of making gifts to charities is so fundamental that we’ve come to take our understanding of it for granted. It is this obvious: When you send a check, transfer stock, or convey any of a number of other assets, the charity uses it as wisely as possible in furthering its mission. How complicated can it be? I give you money. Use it well.
