Abstract:
Abstract The European Union (EU) Structural Funds offer an excellent study to analyze the accomplishments and/or failures of a policy that has tried for years to achieve harmonious and equal development in different territories with very different starting points in terms of wealth. It is also a policy that has granted territories, regions, and municipalities great prominence as necessary actors to achieve that development, and thus as the privileged beneficiaries and recipients of European aid.
