Abstract:
Abstract To answer our research questions three sets of variables derived from the literature review were covered in the interviews: First, information on organizational characteristics such as size and market entry mode was collected. The second set of questions was designed to capture the coordination and control mechanisms used by the HQ to govern their foreign ventures. The third set of questions was intended to identify cultural differences perceived by HQ employees and effective ways of dealing with them. The presentation of our empirical results follows our line of inquiry:
