Chapter Chapter 7 in The Illusion of Leadership, 2008, pp 63-73 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In order to tell a good story, to get a rich and creative interpretation of the ideas laid down for you to explore, you need to have variety in the room. When you sit down with a cast of actors at the start of rehearsals you can get a feel for whether it’s going to be a good and productive rehearsal just from looking round the room. For example: It is the fi rst day of rehearsals. Sunlight streams in through the window of a scruffy church-hall.
