Chapter 12.0 in Everyday Strategic Preparedness, 2007, pp 103-106 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the interpretative framework presented above, practical wisdom refers to the virtuous habit of making decisions and taking actions that serve the common good. Accordingly, where the need for preparedness in organizations stretches beyond the limits of knowledge and action, practically wise individuals can deal with uncertainty in ways that are both ethical and effective. The question then becomes: how can people in organizations develop the practically wise habit of creatively enacting the common good?
