Abstract:
Abstract Many cultures believe that giving a child a particular name will somehow (magically) allow them to inherit that particular quality. Thus Victorians called a child Faith, Charity or Constance. Africans do the same. At home we once had Beauty the cook and Knowledge the gardener.
