Fear and Greed
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in Management Intelligence, 2008, pp 90-92 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Perhaps it was all that 1980s and 1990s time-wasting nonsense about vision and mission statements that led people to be bored by the concept of values at work. Remember the hours (and therefore money) spent on coming up with “inspirational and aspirational” twaddle about “best in the world,” “delighting customers” and “ethical policies”?
