Abstract:
Abstract The development of the field of supply chain management (SCM) has led to the realization of significant, firm-level and industry-wide financial efficiencies, as inventory levels are managed through the application of a variety of knowledge management techniques to logistics management. Independently, the field of strategic technology planning (STP) has grown, addressing the longer-term needs of firms as they develop options for current investment and potential future return.
