A chapter in People Management in Turbulent Times, 2009, pp 86-87 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Integrity, honesty, morality: call it whatever you want. It’s terribly important, but really difficult to measure. The trait/characteristic/quality that people most want in their boss is honesty. The factor that most often derails senior executives is dishonesty … and that is not even counting the conscience-free psychopaths.
