Abstract Do you recall “Process Re-engineering”? It was once all the rage. It promised a radical, logical, and a much more profitable way of doing business. You looked at the whole process, asked yourself “why” questions, and thought of ways to do things differently: more simply, more efficiently, more cheaply.
