Abstract: Abstract Is there a paradox at the heart of adult executive coaching? Those who need it most, benefit from it least. The central question is why they haven’t acquired the skills, awareness, or coping strategies in the first place. Why do they need to be coached, while others don’t? Or is it, as the aggressive salesperson may put it, that we all need coaching?
