The Program — A Very Rough Outline
Mats Larsson
Chapter Chapter 24 in Global Energy Transformation, 2009, pp 278-284 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The main argument of the book is that we, in many cases, have too little knowledge about different opportunities for energy improvements. In order to decide about a fully fledged long-range strategy, we need to initiate overall analysis of the transformation challenge and decide on a route forward for such a program. We need to decide about how to handle the restrictions that we have already mentioned: — Make the best possible use of financial resources. — Achieve results at the pace that is necessary. — Make the best possible use of raw materials that are available for energy production. — Make the best possible use of the land that we have access to. — Build and utilize competence in the different areas related to the transformation in a planned and structured way.
