Chapter 3 in Action Learning, 2010, pp 48-72 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Reg Revans chronicled his own evolution to what eventually became called “action learning” (Revans, 1980; 1982). To illustrate this journey, we will examine in chronological order earliest developmental experiences, followed by his work experiences with his first employer, the Essex County Council in 1935–1945; then with the coal mining industry (1944–1950); and as a consultant to the industry and as an independent researcher (1950–1955).
