Action Learning, Community, and Civil Society
Verna J. Willis
Chapter 6 in Action Learning and its Applications, 2010, pp 99-115 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Reg Revans saw the early signs and said, just as momentum began to gather, that action learning would be “taken up” worldwide on a massive and diversified scale. This “taking up,” largely though action learning derivatives that are more or less faithful to Revans’ classic style, visibly spread like wildfire in management development circles. Less noticed, second generation applications are emerging now at a comparable rate across a wide range of global-to-local social and economic development initiatives.
