Abstract:
Abstract Corporate political activity (CPA) is as old as business itself. Pablo Spiller and Sanny Liao (2006) claim that the participation of interest groups in public policy making is unavoidable. Although this influence is met with some noteworthy suspicion from both policy makers and the public, it is generally assumed that ‘lobbying’ of firms and interest groups works in the favor of those who lobby.
