Chapter Chapter 3 in Football Management, 2010, pp 57-117 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the Introduction and in Chapter 1, football is described as a “results business.” Success might seem easy to define, although different measures are popularly used and results alone may be over-simplistic, ignoring differences in quality of the players — or other influences which might constrain the level of success which is possible.
