Chapter 6 in Technological Innovation, 2010, pp 112-140 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Taking into account the recommendations detailed in the previous chapter, in this one we show the main empirical results obtained from this research. Thus, through this chapter, we shall be able to test the causal relations we have posited in the book. Our explanations will be shown in three main steps: the first an introductory explanation, will be focused on a preliminary statistical analysis. The second is devoted mainly to obtaining a firm’s intellectual capital measurement model from the acquired data, using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. And the third shows the results regarding the role of intellectual capital on product and process innovation outputs, tested in Spanish high and medium-high technology manufacturing firms.
