Postscript: New Century, New Ethic
Richard Donkin
A chapter in The History of Work, 2010, pp 343-351 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The gestation period for this book was about six years. That’s six years spent grappling with the idea of change within permanency, the idea that we are undergoing a revolution in society without needing to venture out of our sitting rooms to see it. It’s a quiet revolution. Or at least it has been quiet up to now.
