Chapter 24 in Early Project Appraisal, 2010, pp 230-238 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In general, risk is defined as a function of two parameters, the probability of an event happening and the consequence of the event should it Once the magnitudes of the two parameters are known, the risk function gives the degree of risk. Of the many conditions entailing risk that affect projects, only a few are worth considering. They may be identified in an analysis that permits their ranking.
