An Economic Bill of Rights
Colin Read
Chapter 7 in The Rise and Fall of an Economic Empire, 2010, pp 59-69 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract If the First Industrial Revolution was centuries in the making, the economic revolution was almost instantaneous. The period running from 1762 to 1787 may well be the most profound quarter century in the history of political and economic philosophy and thought. It culminated in a grand experiment that is only now reaching its conclusion.
