Chapter 5 in The Cost of Capital, 2011, pp 165-192 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Suppose you are interested in expanding overseas to an emerging country. With this goal in mind, one of the options you are analyzing is the purchase of a company in that country. To find out whether this opportunity is acceptable, as with any other investment project, you need to estimate the value of this business to you and compare it to its cost.
