Hyperactive: The Digi-Novel
John W. Warren
Chapter 14.3 in Emerging Digital Spaces in Contemporary Society, 2010, pp 359-361 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The past 12 months have been marked by significant media attention to e-books, numerous e-reader devices have entered the market, and e-book sales have grown. Still, most e-books today are merely a “picture of a book”;—a book that has been digitized but adds little value besides portability, improved search and access (Warren 2009).
