Chapter 8 in Rethinking Coaching, 2010, pp 133-146 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We can now consider how to go about integrating a range of critical theories into coaching, such that the coachee will have a wider intellectual repertoire to call on in charting the course of her career. This means extracting from each particular theory what will be most useful in a workplace environment, the objective being to enable the coachee to see their organizational situation from a variety of viewpoints – perhaps even, as we shall go on to discuss in detail in Chapter 9, that of whistleblowing, with all the delicate issues that raises for the coaching profession.
