Abstract: Abstract This chapter takes some of the individual ‘stories’ of six named successful women from different work areas to provide rich illustration of many of the issues discussed in the book. The text has been drawn directly from their interviews. The sub-title of the book: ‘challenges, choices and change’ provides the main structure for each of their ‘stories’.
