Chapter 1 in Investment Beliefs, 2011, pp 1-6 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Trustees, investment managers and professionals in the pension sector should read this book. Not because we would be pleased with higher sales, but because we think we have something to say to help them manage their investments better. And this is sorely needed. Pension funds and endowments are currently experiencing a rough ride. Since 2000, three major financial crises have taken a large chunk out of the wealth of pension funds, at a time when we increasingly depend on pension funds for our future welfare.
