Chapter 6 in Capital and the Debt Trap, 2011, pp 136-151 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In Chapter 3, we examined the use of debt by absentee investors in order to control enterprises via global chains. We also saw the workers at a loss while management and enterprises seemingly began to follow irrational strategies. The Ceralep story is a typical example of this kind of trend, until the workers reversed the destiny of the business.1
