Chapter 8 in Capital and the Debt Trap, 2011, pp 176-211 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we share our recent fieldwork focusing on how the Mondragon group has been coping with the ongoing global crisis. The group had previously experienced a series of economic crises, in particular in the early 1980s and, to a lesser extent, in the early 1990s. We therefore compare the mechanisms and strategies used now and in earlier periods.1
