Introduction
Amar K. J. R. Nayak
Chapter 1 in Indian Multinationals, 2011, pp 1-6 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This introduction to the book presents, in consecutive sections, the premises of the growth of firms, the analytical framework and the structure of the book. The section on premises presents the existing understanding of the nature of firm growth and the new points of enquiry to explain its explosive growth. The section on analytical framework presents the basis for an explanation of the growth of Indian multinationals, which may differ from existing explanations. The purpose of the section on the structure of the book is self-explanatory.
