Chapter 12 in Handbook of Doing Business in South East Europe, 2012, pp 271-293 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In recent years the countries of South East Europe (SEE) have turned into market economies. This, quite naturally, has made the study of consumers in the region necessary. The aim of this chapter is to describe consumption patterns and consumer behaviour in SEE in general, emphasizing both national and regional characteristics and outlining the similarities with European and global consumers. An attempt is made to summarize and analyse the research studies published in scientific literature in this area.1
