Chapter 44 in Handbook of Spirituality and Business, 2011, pp 369-377 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract An Edgewalker Organization is an organization that seeks to be on the leading edge, is curious about what is emerging just over the horizon, supports creativity and innovation, and nurtures the human spirit. The organization develops collective methods of knowing the future. It encourages risk-taking. The leaders understand how to use vision, imagery, and inspiration to paint a picture of a desired future. Employees are imaginative, empowered, and know how to create what has never been created before.
