A chapter in Corruption, 2011, pp 1-16 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Corruption is widely considered to be the cause of deep and enduring problems in government, business, and civil society. This has long been known and countenanced. But tolerance is diminishing. Governments in many countries are less prepared to overlook contracts going to undeserving parties to buy their favors. The tide is turning on corruption.
