Chapter 6 in What’s Next?, 2011, pp 68-85 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores the many ways of giving back: foundations, mentoring, and volunteering with two interviews, Chai Patel, an MD and former CEO of the Priory, and Marv Berenblum, an executive search partner who have used this as the focus of their business connection. This suggests that the greediest generation may not be as self- absorbed as certain may claim, and shows how, in this area as in others, society may have to adapt to these professionals by giving them the flexibility they are looking for.
