Abstract:
Abstract The word ‘paternalism’ stands for an overprotective mentality, paternal protection in exchange for loyalty and obedience. In working life, it implies a relationship between management and workers that reminds us of that between parents and children, teachers and pupils, or masters and servants. Still, this is part of rather modern international management philosophies.
