Abstract:
Abstract This chapter reports on research into the competing and overlapping leadership narratives found in contemporary Indian business leaders’ stories and the implications of these findings for leadership development and knowledge in a global society. The research asked how these Indian leaders have learned to lead, what influences in their lives have shaped their leadership and what influences in Indian society have consciously or unconsciously affected their leadership thinking and practice.
