Chapter Chapter 8 in Shut Up and Listen, 2012, pp 125-132 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Now we’ve examined the elements of the written word, it’s time to move on and look at something we do instinctively and naturally, every day of our lives, ‘listening’ and ‘talking’. As with other aspects of communication we’ve discussed, we aim to take this subject and move it into a more conscious state, so you can analyse and improve on the way you do it now.
