Chapter Chapter 9 in Shut Up and Listen, 2012, pp 133-138 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Spoken word can be the most powerful way of communicating, so in this chapter we’re going to examine both the message and the delivery method. We’ll start with what you say, then consider the best way of putting it across. Because talking is such a frequently used communication tool, perhaps our principal method of making our feelings known, it is often overlooked as we take it for granted.
